Im trying to figure how to electronically engage and disengage the brakes on a scooter. it needs to be controlled by a microcontroller (KL25Z)

it needs to be controlled using a microcontroller (FRDM KL25Z). I found the data sheet of the scooter's controller: https://dynamiccontrols.com/sites/default/files/2018-05/GBK52040%20R-series%20Installation%20Manual%20Issue%209.pdf
Look at page 17 it has a diagram of how to do so, i need a detailed understanding of how to do this.
