How to skip a transaction if some condition is true?

I want to skip a transaction if the data on the field CODE is MXN.

The user send to our system the data and, using triggers, we handle the data received before insert into the table (BEFORE INSERT TRIGGER).

I can't send and error to avoid the insert because the user will see it (because they are inserting directly on the table and the error will be shown to them) and they don't want that.

Actually we have an AFTER INSERT TRIGGER to delete the lines inserted with the code MXN but I don't think this is the best option that's why I'm asking for you help.

The tech used is PL-SQL, they send the info from Oracle Cloud, and the final application is EAM MAXIMO.

Thanks in advance.
