How can I find a particular event in Atom?

I've been looking to create a tiny package that needs to know whenever a user checks out to a different branch. I've been trying to look at bound events in the console or to find out where the git integration source code it. But both without success.

The temporary solution I could use is to not depend on events and watch file changes with a shell script:

fswatch .git/HEAD

However, using events would cost very fewer resources, and would be less error-prone...

The answer I'm really seeking is the equivalent of keybinding resolver (command or ctrl + .) that would list atom events. Or any hacky way to have this equivalence!
