e(fx)clipse - OpenFX SDK can't be added to project

I installed the e(fx)clipse plugin to eclipse via the marketplace. However, when I try to add the 'OpenFX SDK' library to my build path, it does not appear in the package explorer and my 'import javafx.*' statements cannot be resolved by the ide. I have no problems adding other libraries to my project.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin without resolving the problem.

I have tried uninstalling the plugin, downloading the library directly from the Gluon website, and manually creating a library to include in my project. This works - but with bizarre, difficult to reproduce problems with the IDE. I am guessing that I, an amateur user (sophomore in CS program), am unaware of other things I need to do with this advanced IDE to make such a manual install work properly.

I have been using eclipse for about 8 months. I am, as I mentioned above, an amateur. I like it and would like to keep using it, but my OOP class is going to delve into JavaFX in a few weeks, and if I can't make this work I am going to have to abandon eclipse - at least temporarily.
