Blender Origin/Mirror Glitch

Im trying to edit my shoe in blender but when i try to move it along the x axis the the mesh starts to split up along the origin as if mirrored

Scaling along any axis works fine, and so does moving on the x and y axis

Note: I did not have any mirror modifiers and the object is not parented to something, I reseted the scale,location and rotation so I am very confused on what happened here
